Set of 4 handmade glazed ceramic bowls.
Handmade by a group of sisters from Atzompa, a small village of ceramicists in the Southern Oaxaca region of Mexico. Each piece is sculpted by hand and then fired in a traditional horno (oven). The dripping glaze in the traditional mark of pieces from the village of Atzompa.
*Please note that because these pieces are fired the traditional way and not in a kiln the clay is more porous. As a result, moisture may collect on the outside of the vessels. This will not deteriorate the pieces, as it is the traditional way to fire them that has been maintained for thousands of years.
